UUPrint (“we”, “our”, or “service”) is a student-focused document printing platform designed for the students and faculty of Uttara University. We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling your documents with strict confidentiality.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to fulfill your printing orders and campus handover:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number (used for handover and SMS/WhatsApp notifications), and optional student ID.
• Google User Data: When you use “Continue with Google”, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth solely to authenticate your identity. We do not access contacts, drives, or private account data.
• Uploaded Files: Document files (PDFs and images) you upload to be printed.
• Transaction Records: Prepaid wallet top-ups, debit history, and order invoices.

3. Document Privacy & Retention

Your uploaded academic papers, assignments, and lab reports are strictly confidential. We only access documents to the extent required to execute physical printing. Uploaded files are temporarily stored on secure cloud storage and are deleted after printing and handover completion.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is only shared with verified operational services:

• Google OAuth: For secure student sign-in.
• Payment Gateways (VerifyTaka): For processing prepaid balance recharges. We never store debit or credit card numbers.
• Campus Operators: To coordinate physical handover at Uttara University campus pickup locations.

5. Data Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS (TLS 1.3). Passwords are encrypted using salted bcrypt hashes. Database sessions and storage access are isolated and restricted by role-based access controls.
